HON. GIZELLA TETTEH-AGBOTUI ADVOCATES FOR RESILIENT, SUSTAINABLE BUILDING PRACTICES

The Deputy Minister, Hon. Gizella Tetteh Agbotui has underscored the need for a paradigm shift in building practices; emphasizing the importance of undertaking infrastructural projects that withstand shocks, reduce environmental impact, enhance social equity, and deliver long-term value.

Speaking at the opening of the International Building/Infrastructure and Investment Conference on 13th Septmber 2025 at the Accra International Conference Centre, Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui emphasized the critical role of collaboration among industry players to achieve the vision.

The Deputy Minister said the collaboration would require a skilled workforce equipped for 21st-century challenges, strong and transparent institutions, an enabling policy and regulatory environment, access to knowledge, innovation, and platforms for dialogue.

The Conference brought together policymakers, industry leaders, financiers, and innovators to share insights, showcase innovations, and explore investment opportunities in infrastructure development. It provided a platform for stakeholders to discuss critical challenges and potential solutions, fostering collaboration and driving sustainable growth in the sector
