ADAPTING TO INNOVATION: MWHWR PARTICIPATES IN 2025 POLICY FAIR

The Ministry of Works, Housing, and Water Resources participated in the 2025 Policy Fair organized by the Office of the Head of Civil Service under the theme “Adapting to Innovation, Artificial Intelligence and E-Governance”. The Policy Fair which took place from 21st to 24th July, 2025 aimed to promote interaction between Ministries and the general public to enhance service delivery.

The Ministry and its Agencies and Departments showcased key achievements, ongoing projects, and strategic policies in housing, works and water sub-sectors. The exhibition highlighted initiatives such as the coastal protection works, housing, water and drainage projects and artistic impressions of the upcoming district housing program.

In the Ministry’s booth, cross section of the public interacted with officers who were at hand to offer insights into the Ministry’s programs and policies. Key among them was the Head of Civil Service, Dr. Evans Aggrey-Darkoh who showed appreciation of the achievement of the Ministry.

He also noted that, policy fairs are crucial for ensuring transparency, accountability and to help maintain trust in government organisations.

The Ministry’s participation in the Policy Fair demonstrated its commitment in harnessing technology and innovation to enhance its services and contribute to the country’s growth and development.

The Four day Policy Fair concluded with a renewed call for cross-sector collaboration to drive digital transformation and reaffirmed the Civil Service’s commitment to staying responsive, forward-thinking, and equipped for a technology-driven future.
