The Minister of Works, Housing, and Water Resources, Hon. Kenneth Gilbert Adjei has inaugurated the Governing Board of the Architectural and Engineering Services Limited (AESL) with a charge to boost revenue and expand services.
AESL is a practicing and multidisciplinary firm that provides comprehensive architectural and engineering consultancy services for public and private sector clients in the construction industry. Operating under the Ministry, AESL plays a pivotal role in planning, designing, and supervising various infrastructural projects contributing to Ghana’s development.
The Minister at the inauguration ceremony, charged the board to proactively explore avenues for increasing AESL’s revenue base, strengthen engagements with key stakeholders, and harness the company’s reputation for professionalism and technical depth.
He also urged them to build on the existing AESL’s proven track record in designing and supervising major infrastructure projects across Ghana and explore new markets, particularly in sectors like roads, oil and gas, and infrastructure modernization.
On his part, Mr. Ambrose Tee, the Board Chairman said that they would endeavor to facilitate the review of the AESL Act and also ensure that the institution align with modern trends.
The inauguration marks a significant milestone in AESL’s effort to contribute to addressing Ghana’s infrastructure needs, including potentially impacting the housing sector through its architectural and engineering services.
The Board Members are Ing. Kasser Ambrose Tee (Chairperson), Gordon Tanga, Irene O. Messiba, Peter Abrefa Damoah (Osagyefo Ampem Anye Amoampong Tabrako III), Worlase Kpeli(MP), Badombie Bakuoro Fuseini, Kofi Adjei Baafi and Yanore George Aduko.
